The lut is on dji Download Page. For Resolve I use two nodes to convert dlog to rec.709 and then Apply the dji lut. Looks amazing

I know the size of the pocket is a key selling point, but, even though it adds some bulk, I gotta recommend the pro case by Scotty Makes Stuff ... I used to be so paranoid always with the p3, especially traveling to soccer matches and using it on the sidelines. Now that I have this case I have no issue just tossing it anywhere
Pocket 3 is already amazing for all the major cinematic professional needs. I had a 2012 MacBook Pro that lasted 13 years, and I produced videos and music on it without ever needing to constantly upgrade to the latest Macs.
Arent the freewell ones that Fall of when closing the Camera? I replaced mine with Kfkoncept because they are thinner and stay on the lense when Camera is shut down.
LUT is a color grading file for when you shot on D-Log M format in your pocket (better details but requires post) ... D-Log to Rec.709 is basically hanging from the HQ colorless raw video you took, to a edited one with color and contrast
This cheap and effective tripod specifically built for the Osmo P3 because it comes with a cage that allowed me to do this interview and put my microphone directly on it.
I have all sorts of clams and mounts that get the most out of the versatile Osmo. For 3rd person or pov shots, I love the snorricam. Also have a bunch of ND's which I highly recommend using to get most out of the camera. And the anamorphic lens is much better than I expected as well.
That cage is way better than anything else I tried out. I highly recommended. The suction cup is also great I used on top my car to capture some awesome footage.
✅ What Works
- D-Log M with native LUT support for professional color grading
- ActiveTrack 6.0 keeps you centered without touching gimbal controls
- Thriving third-party ecosystem (cases, tripods, anamorphic lenses, ND filters)
- Genuinely pocket-sized and portable with multi-year durability
- 1-inch CMOS sensor captures impressive low-light and 120fps 4K footage
⚠️ Worth Knowing
- Some third-party ND filters (Freewell) suffer adhesion issues when gimbal is stowed
- Protective case adds bulk, though owners say it's essential for peace of mind
- Realizes potential through accessories rather than out-of-box—expect learning curve with D-Log workflow
Owners consistently praise the Osmo Pocket 3's 1-inch sensor and D-Log M color grading workflow, which unlocks professional-grade post-production control; the gimbal's ActiveTrack 6.0 subject tracking keeps you centered effortlessly, whether you're vlogging or filming cinematic B-roll. The accessory ecosystem is remarkably mature—mounts, tripods, anamorphic lenses, and ND filters see heavy discussion—though durability varies; some users report adhesion issues with certain third-party ND filters, particularly Freewell's, while protective cases consistently rebuild confidence in portability. Notably, nearly all feedback centers on the accessory experience rather than the core camera itself, suggesting the real value lies in how creators expand the gimbal's capabilities. Buy it if you're willing to invest in a quality case and plan to use D-Log and external filters; avoid if you want a plug-and-play experience or prefer a full-size mirrorless camera.
