Does any else’s mop leave streaks like this? ... Machine is brand new…

Initially, I had set my robot's water consumption to around 30, but then I noticed streaks appearing on my floor after drying. I reduced it to 20, and the problem was solved.

Ironically, I got the T80 Omni through Amazon since I was hoping to like the E25 more, expecting to have to return the T80, but it didn't work out as planned.

For mopping, I think roller mops are solid in general, and the T80 is one of them, feels like good value for the price.

Ecovacs T80 Omni : MYR 3,079 ... I’m leaning toward the P50 but it’s a 30 day wait for more stock

The mopping is solid for everyday spills, just check if spare parts (like mop pads) are easy to get in Malaysia.

but im not sure if I'm even doing anything because all I feel like I'm doing is pushing it down, and nothing is happening 😅

Funnily enough, I solved it the other way around, I had streaks at 20 and none over 30. My assumption was that the mop is too dry with 20 and only gets wet at those spots 😅

It sounds like the vacuum is breaking either at the lid or at the connection between the tank and the dock. Please check if there is any debris that is stuck on the lid seal or at the spout/ connection between the tank and the dock.

Only the Ecovacs T80 Omni and the Mova P50 Pro Ultra have an RGB camera. The t80 omni requires ambient light because it lacks a flashlight, whereas the p50 pro ultra has one and performs better with smaller obstacles like cords and socks (ecovacs’ obstacle avoidance is pretty poor compared to other brands).

To me the T80 omni seems like a great allrounder, while it doesn't score "the best" in any category, it does score very well in every category, compared to flagships that may go near or below average (usually either carpet deep clean, mopping or battery life) In a mixed household where you need mopping and carpet deep cleaning it's great. ... It's always listed well below msrp.

✅ What Works

  • Owners describe the mopping as solid for everyday spills and a good match for the price, calling the roller mop a strong value pick among robot vacuums (Price-Value Ratio, 3 mentions).
  • One owner who bought the T80 as a fallback after being disappointed by another Ecovacs model ended up keeping it instead of returning it, citing dependable performance (Reliability, 1 mention).
  • The self-washing OZMO roller mop draws praise for keeping up with daily spills, with an owner noting it's worth checking local spare mop pad availability (Mop Performance, 1 mention).

⚠️ Worth Knowing

  • Water drainage is the most repeated complaint: three separate reports describe the mop leaving streaks on floors, including on brand-new units (Water Drainage, 3 mentions).
  • Obstacle avoidance lags rival models — the T80 lacks a flashlight for low-light navigation and struggles more with small objects like cords and socks (Obstacle Avoidance, 1 mention).
  • The self-empty dock has been linked to leaks or malfunction traced to debris stuck at the lid seal or the tank-to-dock connection (Self-Empty Dock, 2 mentions).
ClearPick Verdict

**Owners largely call the Deebot T80 Omni good value for a roller-mop robot vacuum**, with several reviewers praising its everyday mopping performance and pricing relative to competitors. That said, water drainage complaints surface repeatedly — three separate reports describe streaking on freshly mopped floors, even on brand-new units. Obstacle avoidance is another sore spot: one owner comparing it directly to a rival model found the T80's cord-and-sock detection weaker, attributing it partly to the unit lacking a flashlight for low-light navigation. A couple of owners also flagged self-empty dock trouble, including debris buildup at the tank-to-dock seal that can cause leaks. **Buyers prioritizing mop value and hands-off dumping should be satisfied, but households with lots of small floor clutter or dim rooms may want to look elsewhere.**
