This is a nice headset, but I have issues with random voice cut-offs when speaking (both ANC and on-head detection off, with either dongle or direct Bluetooth), and the number of complaints online suggest there is a product issue there. Didn't get any help from support except recommendation to reset it. The latest firmware update is from July 2023 - not much hope here either.

I bought them recently and the mic cuts in and out constantly. From what I read it's a common issue and I don't recommend these to anyone.
I bought a pair of 65 flex. So far I am happy with them. They are very comfortable and light. Sometimes I have issues with the mic, especially after my laptop times out. Forcing teams to close via task manager and then reopening seems to fix the problem.
it's constantly flashing, either on my head, on the desk or on the charging stand...i'm about to smash it :D
I'm struggling with similar issue. Specifically, if I don't have the Boom Arm completely down the mic fails. ... The boom is loose enough that it is easy for it to move up a fraction and cut me off. So, on 1/2 my calls I get the feedback "you're breaking up" , "I can't hear you". This is for business and it is soooo frustrating that I'm tempted to throw them away.
The headset looks so premium and i like the design, they are extremely comfortable and specially for long calls that goes beyond the 1 hr mark. Voice through the mic sound natural, clear and professional (you can't get that with any earbuds listed above)
I've been having some small issues with my Jabra Evolve2 65 (and Jabra Link 380) with random audio drop outs for roughly 10 seconds at a time, When the audio returns, It sounds quite distorted then comes back to normal again. Potentially RF issues? The dongle is plugged directly into a laptop.
I have a similar problem where the noise cancellation turns off randomly. How do I manually turn this feature on and off?
Second pair of flex same issue with microphone randomly cutting out
โ What Works
- Three professional-grade microphones with advanced signal processing deliver call quality that IT departments and enterprise buyers consistently rate above consumer headphones at twice the price
- UC certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, and Google Meet โ works natively with the platforms Canadian hybrid workers use daily without compatibility issues
- Integrated busylight on the earcup signals to coworkers you're on a call โ a small feature that open-plan office workers consistently call out as genuinely useful
- 37-hour battery with up to 100 feet of Bluetooth range means you can take calls anywhere in a Canadian office without losing connection
โ ๏ธ Worth Knowing
- Designed for professional call performance not music listening โ sound quality for music is adequate but this is a work headset first, not a consumer audio product
- On-ear design rather than over-ear โ comfortable for most users but some report pressure points during extended multi-hour wear
- Premium enterprise pricing reflects its professional certification and build quality โ better justified for hybrid workers on calls all day than occasional users
The Jabra Evolve2 65 is the work headset for Canadian professionals who need call quality that matches the price they're paying. The mic performance, UC platform certification, and busylight are built for the open-plan hybrid office. If you're on Teams or Zoom calls for four-plus hours a day, this is the headset that makes you sound professional and eliminates the background noise excuses.
