I wouldn’t fall for it, the handles seem like a built in fail point, and a cleaning issue, and the sets look like they come with far fewer handles than pans. (9 pans 2 handles? what if you want to use more than 2 pans?) and the lids and handles are hand wash only? That’s a nope from me.
I don’t know your level of cooking but T-fal pans do not last long in in my kitchen, even as a home cook. I’ve had T-gal last maybe 2-3 months. ... This is purely a gimmick to sell their pans.
Tefal are pretty rubbish quality. I bought a set of them a couple of years ago to replace a set that was c20 years old, and they’re already showing their age.
I know it is a little late but I'll add some thoughts in case anyone else finds their way here while deciding whether to buy the Ingenio range. The good - the pans have lasted a few years; we have been careful and they are not starting to show their age but they have been heavily used and we'll continue to use for the foreseeable future. We liked the removable handles both for storage and also for putting the pan under the grill and in the oven and they have been a success for that. Indeed; they have worked really well until one day they didn't! One of them is now getting stuck and it will take a few minutes of swearing and cursing and hitting the side buttons before it will open. The handles cost £17 each so they aren't exactly cheap and I was surprised when looking at the Tefal website (in the hope of finding a way to fix them) that Tefal don't recommend keeping the handles on when using them, especially on gas hobs.
