Vari Electric Standing Desk

The Vari desk arrived a couple of days ago, and I put it together yesterday. I've been working on it all day. As widely reported, putting it together was simple and its stability is rock solid concerning anything that I do. The ContourEdge is comfortable, and the table is solidly constructed. The light wood color laminate top is ever-so-slightly textured and is pleasing to my eye. The desk is not cheap but is money well spent, in my opinion. I could not be more satisfied.

Good idea! Glad its not buried now :). Loving the reclaimed wood one I got, shipped fast and was packed well. I thought 60 was going to be to large but actually its not a bad size.

Its the new one, no cross bar, up high it wobbled a little when i tried pushing it back in forth (which i'd probably never purposely do) (left to right) seemed pretty stable front to back, I have it on carpet if that makes any difference. New to the whole standing desk world at home (have one at work)

Indeed, it is. I work from home and use it daily. I am well pleased. And the finish of the top, which was a concern to me when I bought it, has held up great, probably better than solid wood would have.

Got mine today. So easy to put together, love it so far, high quality for sure. Glad I got 30x60

I realize this is a long time past - but finally got it set up now - no wobble at all when sitting - nothing noticeable when standing either. extremely sturdy desk.

Really well, I've been working from home on it and haven't had any issues at all.

It took about a week for the desk to arrive after I bought it from Office Depot. The packaging the desk and frame came in was top notch. The desk top was fully covered in cardboard and inside it was secured very well. It would take a lot of effort to damage this in shipping. The frame was equally well packed. I was really impressed. Assembling the desk was such a breeze. It took about 25 minutes from taking everything out of packaging to fully assemble the desk and get it in place in our office. I am 6'5" and keep the desk at around 46". It has a minor amount of wobble, but nothing that I would complain about. Overall it feels very sturdy. I love the feel and look of the reclaimed wood top. Overall, I would give this desk a 9/10. It far exceeded my expectations.

It's a laminate but very heavy and sturdy, doesn't scratch or scuff easily from what I've tried.

I got the Vari desk as well, and I was super impressed by the packaging which makes sense based on the sheer weight of the package (was a struggle to carry into my apartment from the mail room). It was nice to get the velcro cable ties, headphone hooks, and they even threw in a coaster. They're all heavily branded with images of Vari, but they're free and good quality so I can't complain. Overall agree with your review. I have zero regrets, especially with the Office Depot discount code.

I'm extremely late in replying, nonetheless, I prefer Vari, love the stability, sturdiness and the wood finish!
