The Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro SE is a large-format wireless gaming mouse with three connectivity options including Qi wireless charging and swappable side grips that physically adapt to different hand sizes โ a feature no other gaming mouse offers.

I had this exact same problem with mine. The paint wore away around the logo after four months.
I've heard nothing but horror stories about Corsair mice from friends. One had that same Dark Core RGB SE and the buttons genuinely started creaking and the scroll wheel died after a few months. Another has a M65 RGB and it started double clicking after a year. I love Corsair products for the most part (I've spent probably multiple thousand on Corsair shit at this point) but their mice are something I will stay away from
Both the Ironclaw Wireless and Dark Core glide well, so no worries there. For me, the Dark Core is the slightly better FPS mouse because it has a shape that makes aiming a bit easier (for me). It also has an excellent scroll wheel with definite steps and a firm click. The only weakness is the front side button is a bit far forward and hard to reach for me without repositioning my hand.
Stop putting a choke hold on your mouse? I've had this mouse for a while and never had issues.
I'm using mine for over 2 years and still going very strong.
I have a Dark Core RGB SE, have had it for about two years now. All of a sudden, like three or four days ago, the RGB lighting on the mouse just stopped working. It shows in iCUE that it is working, like the diagram of the mouse shows lighting, but the mouse itself shows none ... I would accept a burned out light if the fact that ALL of the lights stopped working at the same time, not just one spot.
The Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro SE is for Canadian gamers building a full Corsair ecosystem who want wireless freedom with Qi charging flexibility. The Slipstream wireless latency and iCUE integration make it a natural choice for existing Corsair users. For gamers not invested in Corsair peripherals, the Logitech G502 X Lightspeed offers more programmable controls and PowerPlay compatibility at a comparable price.
