Weld quality inconsistent…
Mine had a rough weld on one upright that I had to grind down before it was smooth. Not a structural issue but annoying on a safety piece of equipment.

Weld quality inconsistent…

4 hours by myself. If I'd had help it would have been 2. The uprights need to be held while you bolt the crossbeams and you simply cannot do it alone efficiently.
Source: Amazon reviewerBolts need regular tightening…
I check all the bolts monthly. A few always need a turn or two. Not a big deal but something to be aware of for safety.
Source: RedditNeeds floor anchors for heavy use…
I noticed the cage move slightly during a 350 lb squat. I anchored it the next day with lag bolts into the concrete and it's been rock solid since. Don't skip anchoring.
Source: Amazon reviewerThe Fitness Reality 810XLT Power Cage delivers genuine power cage functionality — 800 lb capacity, 19 height positions, safety bars, and a multi-grip pull-up bar — at a price point well below premium alternatives. The weld quality inspection and periodic bolt tightening are real maintenance responsibilities, not optional, and floor anchoring for heavy loads is essential rather than advisory. For home gym builders who want a safe solo training environment without spending $800–1,500 on premium alternatives, this cage punches above its price class.
