This is the worst headset that I ever bought.
Jabra Evolve2 75

I downgraded to the 1.11.7 (special thanks to u/AAAHeadsets for the links) and that does the trick. I got zero responses that people stop hearing me in the middle of a call, since the downgrade.
the sound that I hear is very unpleasant when mic gets activated. Also headset mic broke after half a year, got the whole headset replaced and it broke again after six month.
This has been a source of huge frustration, since I'm on calls just about all day every day, and being told my voice has cut out makes me want to throw the headset in the garbage.
The v1.11.7 released in jan 2024 did not fix my issue, headset only worked well with 1.6.0, i have tested all available firmwares.
I have had 20+ emails with Jabra support about this issue ... As a premium business headset it definitely is not fit for purpose with this issue.
Same issue here, can't use the microphone since it turns the sound into trash quality as f*** ... After some firmware update, it got worst because it broke my workaround so now you ether use the microphone or the audio...
I've had to replace my set three times (Jabra has excellent support), and all of them had the same issue. Sometimes my voice would fade out, and people couldn't hear me.
the noise cancelation in the microphone (not the ANC of the ears) tune down / cancel my voice when i lower my voice to a certain level. The person on the other side hears me only partially and very weak.
Got a new Jabra Evolve2 75 last week. Boom mic produces horrible fluctuations. Most of the time my voice is muffled on the other side. Voice fades in and out. No consistency.
I've just know downgraded the firmware to 1.6.0. Hope this will resolve the issue with the mic... Edit: yes, this is still an issue in 2025.
I use Jabra. It's ok but it's a bit annoying trying to redial from the headset. Apart from that, I find it good and I wear it 12 hours a day
It Helped me been in 1.6.0 version and im glad I found the fix for now... hopefully Jabra will fix all the issues given this is not a cheap Headset...
Overall I find them very comfortable, audio quality is nice, ANC as well...but that mic is totally different story.
โ What Works
- Eight professional microphones deliver broadcast-quality call audio that reviewers consistently describe as the clearest they've heard from a wireless headset at any price
- Advanced ANC with dedicated chipset outperforms the Evolve2 65 on background noise isolation โ meaningful for busy Canadian open offices or working from home with household noise
- Over-ear design with memory foam cushions provides all-day comfort for professionals on extended call schedules โ noticeably more comfortable than on-ear alternatives during marathon work days
- Works as a premium Bluetooth headphone for music when not on calls โ sound quality is meaningfully better than the Evolve2 65 making it a genuine dual-purpose headset
โ ๏ธ Worth Knowing
- Premium pricing puts it at the top of the professional headset category โ best justified for professionals whose income depends on call quality
- Heavier than the Evolve2 65 at 282g โ noticeable during extended wear but most professional users find it acceptable
- Charging dock sold separately โ the headset charges via USB-C but the desk dock that makes hot-desking seamless is an additional purchase
The Jabra Evolve2 75 is the premium upgrade for Canadian professionals who need the absolute best call quality available in a wireless headset. The eight-mic system and over-ear ANC make it the top choice for executives, sales professionals, and anyone whose reputation depends on how they sound on a call.
