iFIT subscription required for full value…
The machine works without iFIT but it's basically just a belt and motor. The whole reason to buy this over a cheaper treadmill is the iFIT classes, and that's another $400 a year.

"The iFIT classes are the reason I actually use this thing. I've done more cardio in the last 3 months than the last 3 years."

I put my iPad next to it because the built-in screen is too small to actually watch anything. At this price I expected something bigger.
Source: Amazon reviewerAssembly took us almost four hours…
Assembly was brutal. Instructions weren't clear, bolts stripped on one of the arms, and we had to watch YouTube to figure out the last steps. Pay for the assembly service.
Source: RedditGets loud above 6 MPH…
At walking and light jogging speeds it's fine, but once I hit 7 MPH it starts vibrating and the motor noise picks up noticeably. My downstairs neighbour has already knocked.
Source: Amazon reviewerThe NordicTrack T 6.5Si is a competent mid-range treadmill whose value proposition is almost entirely tied to iFIT — without the subscription, you're paying $999 for a motor and belt that competitors offer for $600. With iFIT, the on-demand class library and auto-adjusting incline programs justify the price for buyers who will actually use them consistently. The 7" display is the clearest compromise at this price; bring a tablet if screen size matters. Assembly complexity is real and professional installation is worth the cost for most buyers.
