Blade is dangerously sharp to unscrew…
Cut my finger on the blade assembly for the second time this month. There's no guard and the blade is razor sharp. Be very careful when unscrewing after blending.

"I've had this for two years and make a smoothie every single morning. It's never failed me. Kale, frozen berries, banana, protein powder — done in 45 seconds."

"Cleanup is actually easier than rinsing a glass. Soap, water, 10 seconds, done. I use it every day because the friction is zero."

"Blends frozen mango from solid to completely smooth without stopping. No other personal blender at this price does that."

"Best $89 I've spent on a kitchen appliance. Simple, powerful, easy to clean. Doesn't try to be something it's not."

Source: Amazon reviewerCan't blend hot liquids — cup pressurizes…
Tried blending warm soup in it and the lid popped off mid-blend. The sealed cup builds pressure with hot liquids. Manual says not to use with hot ingredients but it's easy to forget.
Source: RedditMotor base lifts on thick blends…
When I blend frozen fruit with minimal liquid, the base starts to walk across the counter. I have to hold it down. Not what I expected from a $90 blender.
Source: Amazon reviewerOnly one speed — full power always…
There's no low speed option. You get one setting: maximum. Fine for most things but I'd love a gentle pulse option for mixing protein powder without over-blending.
Source: Amazon reviewerThe NutriBullet Pro 900 is the definitive daily smoothie blender for Canadians who make one smoothie per day and want it to take under two minutes from start to clean-up. The 900W motor handles frozen fruit and raw greens without complaint, and the cup-direct design makes it the least annoying blender to clean on the market. It's a single-purpose tool — it cannot replace a full-size blender for soups, large batches, or hot liquids — but within its scope it's exceptional value at $89 CAD.
