The glass charger is fragile…
The glass charging cup cracked when I knocked it off the counter. Replacement is $25–35. Beautiful design but should have gone with a plastic stand.

"The app coaching caught that I was always rushing my upper right quadrant. Fixed that, and my dentist noticed improved gum health at my next checkup."

The Premium All-in-One heads are $15 each and you need 4 a year. That's $60 annually just in brush heads on top of a $300 device.

Several of the brushing modes are only configurable through the app. It's not a big deal but I didn't expect to need my phone to set up my toothbrush.

The handle gets noticeably warm when charging in the glass. It's within normal range for induction charging but it was unexpected the first time I touched it.
Source: Amazon reviewerThe Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9300 is the premium choice for users who prioritize gum health and gentle but thorough cleaning — its sonic technology and Gum Health mode make it the standard recommendation for users with sensitive gums or those managing early gum disease. The 3-week battery, sophisticated app coaching, and premium build quality justify the $299 CAD price for committed daily users. For users who primarily want effective plaque removal and don't need gum-specific features, the Oral-B Pro 1000 at $79 CAD delivers comparable clinical results at a fraction of the price.
