I bought one new in 2022- love it use it all the time. The training has been amazing I have learned so much in 2 years. Way more than in 30 years previously trying to repeat what I learned from high school coaching.
But d***, he had a tricky time. I'm finding that when going on speeds higher then a 4, it's pretty loud and makes a different noise then just feet hitting the tread.
We're actually exchanging ours as it makes kind of a loud wining noise when we walk on it.
I'm finding these belts and decks are only good for a year or two for runners or 2 to 4 years for a walker.
I did contact iFIT this morning, they confirmed they are extra pieces and not required. Said they are levelers if the floor is uneven.
Using his videos I was able to install Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Plex on the Pro 9000. Hulu and Disney+ would error out when playing videos no matter what APK I loaded.
The company builds it with only 2GB of ram ๐. I have iFit, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Chrome browser, and a couple smaller ones, but that's about it.
I wouldn't suggest Proform Pro 9000 or Nordictrack 1250. They are the same company and have maximum customer complaints and unsatisfied customers
This looks like the belt from my first treadmill. A service tech at the time recommended that I lubricate the deck every 3-6 months which I now do and have not had a belt wear out like this since.
I just got mine yesterday and I am trying to install the cross bar. Did you have issues with the screws not fitting into the holes? the screws are not going down flush to the cross bar, they stick up quite a bit.
Yes, it's tricky to get it all lined up. Especially the screen mount. Took forever to get it locked down. What seemed to work was partially screwing in everything before tightening them completely.
โ What Works
- 22-inch HD touchscreen is the largest display in the home treadmill category at this price point โ meaningful for iFIT workout immersion where larger video makes the virtual outdoor running experience more engaging
- -3% decline to 12% incline with iFIT auto-adjustment delivers varied terrain training that flat treadmills can't replicate โ meaningful for Canadian runners preparing for hilly outdoor routes
- 3.6 CHP motor handles sustained running sessions reliably for most Canadian home training schedules
- Foldable SpaceSaver design stores vertically when not in use โ meaningful for Canadian basement and spare room home gyms where floor space is shared with other activities
โ ๏ธ Worth Knowing
- iFIT subscription required for auto-adjusting workouts โ the core feature that justifies the price requires an ongoing subscription that adds to total ownership cost
- NordicTrack Commercial 1750 at a comparable price has a more powerful 4.25 CHP motor and wider incline range โ worth comparing both before deciding
- Better for interactive training with iFIT content than for runners who prefer training without guided programs
The ProForm Pro 9000 is for Canadian home runners who want a large interactive touchscreen, incline and decline training, and iFIT connectivity in a foldable package. The 22-inch display is the standout feature over the NordicTrack 1750 โ if screen size and immersive workouts are priorities, ProForm wins that comparison. For motor power and incline range, the NordicTrack 1750 has the edge. Both are excellent โ the choice comes down to screen size versus motor performance.
