Stock seat is uncomfortable…
The seat that comes with it is terrible. I bought a gel cover on day one and even that wasn't enough — eventually got a replacement saddle. Budget for it.

"I use the Peloton app on this and honestly can't imagine paying three grand for the actual Peloton when this does exactly the same thing."

"The 100-level resistance is incredible for interval training. I can go from a very easy spin to a brutal climb in one turn of the knob."

"Finally got clip-in shoes and it transformed the ride. The SPD pedals were a great call by Schwinn."

"I do a 45-minute Peloton class every morning on this. 8 months in, no issues whatsoever."

I knew going in there was no screen, but it's still annoying to prop up my iPad every session. I wish they'd at least included a better media mount.
Source: Amazon reviewerAssembly instructions could be better…
The manual is vague in the spots where it matters most. I spent 30 minutes YouTube searching for a video on how to align the flywheel correctly.
Source: RedditHeavy and doesn't move easily…
The transport wheels only work on very smooth floors. On my textured concrete basement floor I basically can't move it without two people.
Source: Amazon reviewerThe Schwinn IC4 is the de facto choice for buyers who want Peloton-class workouts without the Peloton price. The 100-level magnetic resistance and Peloton app compatibility together make this one of the best-value indoor bikes available in Canada. The seat needs upgrading and the lack of a built-in screen is a real omission, but neither is a dealbreaker — they're budget decisions buyers can make themselves after purchase. For serious home cyclists, this is the bike.
