The stealth pro is more of a direct rip off of the nova pro, which blows it away spec for spec in everything except price. Anyone who pays the cost of the stealth pro has a few screws loose, no offense.
with the stealth pro comes extremely low capacity batteries, expect to be swapping two to 1 swap on the novas ... Poor charging method. ... Enjoy when the mic input dies, when it inevitably wears out from constantly being removed and reinserted, because they though removing the battery there was a great idea.
I have to disagree with the nova pro and stealth pro. For gaming the stealth pro sounds better. And it's more comfortable.
The stealths will not get as loud at max volume as maxwells but the are bettie than Maxwell for FPS and not much behind in every other game, there is plenty of bass!
Yeah, the stealth pros sounded solid but I prefer my Maxwell. I donโt play FPS games, or very often at least. The pros didnโt sound that great for music or movie listening either. Also I thought their build quality was a bit questionable for the price.
Doesn't properly pair with the receiver. ... Windows doesn't recognize it as an audio device (tried multiple USB ports). ... Attempts to update firmware always end in "ERROR" after being stuck at 4%.
when he began complaining u cant adjust the volume unless you use 2 fingers (he prefers 1), I was like okay...now were nitpicking...lol.
I have the stealth pro on test and be warned the max volume is a little limited, the sound overall with the right EQ is a little better than the nova pro wired.
โ What Works
- Simultaneous 2.4GHz and Bluetooth means you stay in party chat on console while taking a phone call without ever unplugging anything
- Swappable battery system with a quick-swap dock eliminates battery anxiety entirely โ charge one while playing on the other
- SuperHuman Hearing mode enhances quiet sounds like footsteps during competitive gaming โ a meaningful edge in tactical shooters
- Universal platform compatibility with PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC in a single headset โ one purchase covers every console in a Canadian household
โ ๏ธ Worth Knowing
- Premium pricing positions this headset for serious multi-platform gamers โ casual gamers get better value from dedicated single-platform options
- Weight at 390g is heavier than gaming headsets in the same price range โ noticeable during long sessions
- Turtle Beach Audio Hub software on PC has occasional stability issues โ audio customization features are best used on console
The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro Wireless is for serious Canadian gamers who play across multiple platforms and want one premium headset to cover all of them. The swappable battery system, simultaneous dual wireless, and SuperHuman Hearing make it a technically impressive option for competitive and cross-platform play. If you primarily play one platform, comparable performance is available for less.
