Walking only โ no jogging capabilityโฆ
6 km/h is about as fast as a brisk walk. If you want to run or jog, this is not the machine. Totally my fault for not reading specs but I see this complaint everywhere.
Source: Amazon reviewerThe WalkingPad A1 Pro folds flat to 5 inches to slide under a standing desk โ a walking treadmill designed specifically for remote workers who want to move during their workday without converting their office into a gym. Available on Amazon.ca (ASIN B09BVDK56S) at around $599 CAD.

The first week I kept grabbing my desk because I felt like I was going to lose my balance while typing. I got used to it by week two but it's a real adjustment.

I'm 270 lbs and I technically can't use this. I tried it anyway and the motor sounded different. I returned it and got a full-size treadmill instead.

$600 for a treadmill that maxes at 6 km/h is hard to justify. Great for what it does but it's a premium for the form factor.
Source: Amazon reviewerThe WalkingPad A1 Pro solves a specific problem extremely well: it makes walking during work hours possible in a home or apartment where a full treadmill has no place and no room. Flat storage, genuine quiet operation, and remote speed control make it practical for daily use. The walking-only speed ceiling and 265 lb weight limit are fundamental design choices, not flaws โ this is a desk productivity tool that happens to have health benefits, not a fitness machine. For remote workers and apartment dwellers who sit 8+ hours a day, it's one of the most impactful health purchases available.
