Expensive compared to competitors…
The Dell U2723D has similar color accuracy and better connectivity for less. The only reason I bought the BenQ is the CAD/CAM mode, which actually is excellent for SolidWorks.

"The CAD/CAM mode transformed how I see my AutoCAD drawings. Lines are crisper and the contrast is noticeably better. I didn't expect such a practical difference."

60Hz is fine for work but if you also want to use your monitor for gaming you'll be disappointed. Bought a second monitor for gaming because of this.
Source: RedditUSB-C cable not included…
No USB-C cable in the box for a $700 monitor is frustrating. You need to buy one separately. Should come standard at this price point.
Source: Amazon reviewerDisplay Pilot software is finicky…
The Display Pilot software occasionally doesn't detect the monitor after a reboot. Usually a restart of the software fixes it but it's annoying for a premium product.
Source: Amazon reviewerThe BenQ PD2700U earns its price premium for architects, engineers, and 3D artists who use CAD/CAM software — the specialized mode is genuinely useful and no consumer monitor replicates it. The 4K IPS panel with AQCOLOR calibration is accurate and consistent, and Display Pilot adds real workflow value. General graphic designers who don't use CAD-type software should weigh this against the less expensive Dell U2723D or ASUS ProArt PA278CV before committing.
