Picks up keyboard noise…
In cardioid mode with the gain set high, it picks up my mechanical keyboard quite clearly. Needs a boom arm and proper positioning to reduce this. Not ideal for streamers with loud keyboards.

"Plug and play was genuinely plug and play. Mac recognized it instantly, Teams picked it up, and I was on my first call in under two minutes."

"The zero-latency headphone monitoring changed how I record. Hearing myself in real time lets me catch problems immediately instead of discovering them during editing."

Source: Amazon reviewerBig and heavy on the desk…
Takes up more space than I expected. The integrated stand is solid but the mic sits low — a boom arm is basically mandatory to get it at the right height without a desk stand.
Source: RedditGain knob can catch and change accidentally…
The gain knob is easy to bump when reaching for the mute button, which causes a sudden volume spike in recordings. Needs a firmer detent.
Source: Amazon reviewerRoom noise shows up in omnidirectional mode…
Omni mode picks up everything, including HVAC noise and outside sounds I didn't realize were audible. Great for the application but you need a quiet room.
Source: Amazon reviewerThe Blue Yeti remains the gold standard USB microphone for home studios, podcasters, and remote workers who want professional-grade audio without an audio interface. Four polar patterns in a plug-and-play USB package with zero-latency monitoring covers more recording scenarios than any comparable mic at this price. The main caveats are desk real estate and the value of pairing it with a boom arm — with a proper setup, the Yeti punches significantly above its price point.
