Stand doesn't swivel or pivot…
The stand only tilts and adjusts height. No swivel means I can't angle it toward a second person, and no pivot means no portrait mode. Needed a VESA arm to get the positioning I wanted.

"The jump from 1080p to 4K on this size is massive. Text is noticeably sharper and I can fit a full page document without zooming out at all."

"Been using this as my main work monitor for two years. Consistent, no dead pixels, colors still accurate. Good build quality for the price."

"HDR400 is subtle but visible on Netflix HDR content. Not OLED-level contrast but a noticeable improvement over SDR-only panels at similar prices."

Charges my MacBook Air M2 perfectly, but my MBP 16 doesn't maintain battery under load with only 60W. Had to keep the MagSafe connected alongside the USB-C for heavy work.

Noticeable backlight bleed in the lower corners when watching dark content. Not visible during typical office use but shows up in movies with dark scenes.

The input and settings controls are buttons on the rear-bottom of the panel — hard to reach without removing the monitor from the stand. The remote included is handy but shouldn't be necessary.
Source: Amazon reviewerThe LG 27UK850-W delivers solid 4K IPS performance for home office and productivity use at a competitive price in Canada. The USB-C connectivity is practical for ultrabook users, and the 99% sRGB accuracy handles general creative work without additional calibration. The stand limitations and 60W USB-C ceiling are genuine considerations for multi-monitor or high-power setups, but for a primary 4K monitor with single-cable laptop connectivity it's a proven and value-forward choice.
